There could be something to the speculation. Weren't the Reinhart's in Vegas with Haley this summer celebrating their 25th? I seem to remember seeing pics somewhere here of Angie and Haley sitting by a AI slot machine. They were planning on seeing her at the Cosmo in July but the date got moved?? I dunno, but Harry seems to be very active in Haley's career and looking out for her best interests.

With the way Haley continues her relationship with Irvin Mayfield, it doesn't seem all that unlikely to me that she could conceivably do a jazz album with him one day. Wouldn't that be cool?

Swan-nee, I was thinking about that as well. Although, if that were to happen I hope that it would be with his club group rather than NOJO. Jazz is an intimate music and needs more intimate settings, in smaller numbers. The "big band" no longer "works" for me (and hasn't for a good many years).

^^I agree, MAE. Small and intimate works for me. The beautiful nuances of Haley's voice backed by the sensitive accompaniment of experienced jazz musicians cannot help but be a rich and satisfying endeavor.
