Sounds like she sent him a private thanks, but I just think she should acknowledge when someone 'of note' throws their hat into her ring, a public thanks in a tweet is a simple enough way to accomplish this. Additionally, in Twitter, that would mean your tweet will also appear in their mentions, then fans, of the donating celebrity. Might as well take advantage of the social media opportunities. It may reinforce to undecideds that if these 'celebs' donate, then maybe it's worthwhile for them to also donate. PR/FundRaising 101 
If/when Michael acknowledges her thanks, yet another opportunity to advertise your effort beyond your core fan base
....I'm still buzzing .... The cherry on top was the mini S10 reunion I found myself in the middle of, thnx to a performance on Idol
Would be a trip to see Haley attend a Pia show and vice versa

don't know if this is doable, but if you or anyone else can get the word out to Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Lambert, Conan O'Brien or the girls on The View as they were all big supporters of Haley. Now that's some big bucks!!!

I've tweeted to Ellen a few times, more to Tom Hanks, suggesting she could be in his sequel to "That thing you do" , but to no avail....
Doesn't hurt to mention her whenever the opportunity arises, never know, might get a bite one of these times
Nice little run of donations today, including one from one of Haley's relatives whom I met in Chicago. Over $7300 with 50 days to go

Yah we noticed Slezak's sizable donation a few days ago, just trying to get Haley into the swing of the 'donation' game, by acknowledging 'notable' support 
Ya, I think it's Patti's cousin, red hair? I met her and her Dad in Chicago, she just recently followed me
I've finally started my account and donating, doesn't stop me from trying to pump up support further though.... I think I'm feeding off the fumes from Haley's energy LOL
Pia just favorited my tweet asking them to give a heads up if they're going to England so I can make plans to see Haley there LOL
