Me too, Babbs. It is good to see Haley performing regularly. I'm glad to see her performing with Casey, and it's also nice to see her performing with Mark. The street performances are cool too. I like that she is getting experience in small venues, and Room 5 seems perfect in that it is a relaxed setting. And I like that she is part of longer sets now. It's all good I say.
Hanging with Mark is broadening her exposure in the LA music scene and getting to know some of the A-team dancers could pay off for her at some point. The Dannig crowd is more avante garde and can feed Haley's bohemian tendencies. This, I think, is good for her creative juices. Haley likes to hop across lanes, which may not be please the corporate types in the music industry, but it makes for an interesting ride.
The Human Experience takes her further off the beaten path. While David Block's music is mostly of an electronic, new-age-y style, he travels all over the place and seems to celebrate the musical styles of the various cultures he encounters. He and Haley may be kindred spirits of some sort, and she can get a fix for her inner hippie hanging in his zone.
