That's interesting. They were together at the Ole Timbaland songwriting camp in October 2013.

Clare gets around and has been putting pictures up on Instagram regularly this past year. Haley continues to "like" them now and then.

Since LIWFF was written long before the the recent music video was made and released, it appears the pain or struggle expressed in this song was drawn from another event or the cumulative process of pursuing a music career. Heck, just the treatment Randy gave her on Idol would provide enough songwriting material for an entire album.

I wouldn't even want to venture an opinion as to what is going on inside the heart and mind of Haley...but it is a beautiful heart and mind! We all have our struggles, and as some of us well traveled Haliens can attest, life is tough...it's not easy. No one is going to just hand you things. You have to work, pursue, persevere, get back up and accept the the outcome...good and bad, that comes with life. In the end, whatever you invested in, satisfaction and joy comes with the struggle or process you go through to see it to the finish line.

Kind of deep for Buzz ...once a year I think about the importance of work on Labor Day.

I mean, it's probably simply about being dropped and the feelings that come with that.

I'm thinking it was up to date when she sang it, at that moment every bitter/sweet emotion she has experienced exuded from her magnanimous soul, acting as a catharsis her feeling needing to be expressed through music, how else with Haley. And of course not every word an artist brings to life is necessarily taken from their own life! Maybe she's laughing at so much seriousness right now!? (Are all the love and breakup songs by Haley "reports"?) Always a possibility.

Though this song does seem pretty direct and raw and honestly heartfelt, as if it really is real ... I like this song so much for that.

1)I'm an old man(67 yo)but at the middle of the song some tears drop out of my eyes and I don't cry easily,she performed the song with the heart on her
