Yes, based on her language. Her use of "tart" was meant to be demeaning and dismissive. I made an assumption as to why based on her stated desires.

But I don't think it improves upon the song. The arrangement, the lyrics, the voice..they are all in sync in the original, and it's a wonderfully catchy and unique pop song. IMO, as a fanbase, we want to stay as open and as positive as possible. No need to downplay the original. I like both versions. I liked the original at first listen and think it's better than most pop songs. But I think the video goes a long way in establishing the gloomy mood Merlin referred to earlier. I agree there's no need to drag down the original version of any song Haley might cover to lift up her performances.

They put the link to Haley's SMYM channel on the PMJ video, last time I checked, she had around 850 subscribers (over a month ago?) it's now 1146
