It is a casual jam, but it's great that these 3 can, to quote Casey, "enjoy the fun (and the love and the joy) of music" in such a spontaneous fashion. I miss being around people where those occasions could happen. (I find that it's not particularly effective on my own.)
Ironically, when I woke this morning I was thinking about a PMJ version of A Train. I quickly decided that would not be a good idea, since the premise of PMJ is to put a different spin on a song -- usually a current song with a vintage take. Since A Train is vintage, then he'd be left with what -- giving it a contemporary touch? That doesn't seem like a good approach. When something is perfection to begin with: Leave. It. Alone.
It's been maybe about 2 years ago that I learned how close the public came to never hearing that song. We need to be grateful for the astuteness and resourcefulness of Duke Ellington's son.

Anders is based in the UK, didn't have to fly over.
It's why I asked him months ago if he'd be seeing Haley and PMJ when they came to London
