I know we just finished International Halien Shindig #1 (We missed ya buddy) And in Chicago we've had 2 BGDays Shindigs, 3 PMJ Shindigs+1 coming, 2 Haley solo Shindigs, 1 NOJO Shindig, 1 Lollapalooza Shindig & 2 half-shindigs, so on July 13th we will be at number 12 So November 5th would be Halien Shindig#13 unless something else comes up before November.

OMG! Months to plan. Could I make that happen? But a Sunday nite in Chi-town? My Rachel starts at a local college this fall, but missing one day? For this? Well worth it in all of our opinions I'm guessing. Sooo much to be excited for. Album release is WELL before the show so buzz (sorry Buzz) should be generating by then.

All in all, whatever keeps our girl on track is what matters. I'll still miss it if she gets too big to share this lower level fandom but her talent and drive and recognition of same is starting to really get noticed.

And you're right to question the Shindig # Steve, they're have been too many "sub-shindigs" to keep track.

I'm hoping I can make it to the Shindig as well. I am usually in the area on business right around late October/early November. I'll have to check with my customers and see if I can make it happen. I'll also be seeing her in L.A. at the El Rey Theater, I think tickets go on presale tomorrow. Hey Midnight, are you planning on going?

It looks like you can buy VIP tickets a day early for the LA show.... I just happened to check the El Rey ticket site and it seems regular tickets are available in 30 minutes, but the VIP and Amex pre-sale have been available.

Derek sent out a tweet yesterday about scalpers, attached a message from someone who bought it 'resale', and said they're not available until the 30th, but I logged into AXS, the ticket reseller for the El Rey, and they had all my info including my credit card number, I just had to click yes, didn't need to enter my CC# so I assume it's legit?

They had Thursday pre-sales for most/all the venues. Some requires a promo code.

It's so much fun reading of all the excitement about the tour! The whole chaos of figuring out what to do! 2017 is developing nicely indeed!

Just checking over the tickets at a few of the stops and the prices are all different. Checked Phoenix, Chicago and Minneapolis and VIPs are $63, $53 and $75, respectively. GA prices vary too.

Supply and demand, income levels, venue sizes...where they really hit you is the processing/convenience fee. Often, if they're using a ticket seller like Ticketmaster or AXS they slap on a huge fee. Other places like Solana Beach or Lincoln Hall, issue their own tickets so don't charge quite as much

I have VIP for Lincoln Hall! I felt bad not going last year, so now I have to figure out transporation. The feeling of buying concert tickets gives me anxiety, but it is one of the best excitement/anixety feelings. Now I just hope the weather cooperates....

That makes sense. I like how many of the venues now are making all ticket sales "Will Call" and pick up at the venue with matching ID to purchasing CC only, bypassing the Ticketmasters and the like all together. It's really about the only way to prevent scalping. (which I believe is legal in Phoenix, as a side note)

Of course, that really only works for smaller venues. They couldn't try to pull that off at arenas or stadiums.
