RE: TMZ: Haley arrested?!?

Just like the initial report, this is only a part of the story, I don't think you can be charged w/ battery unless there's evidence, a bruise, some blood, or in this case, a black eye. Something happened, but you can't say this if there is a charge of battery, which means there is evidence of battery.
Either way, the 'bigger' picture is how the Lamplighter runs it's business, the type of people they hire to be bouncers, if they over serve and ALL the previous complaints will be reviewed to look for a pattern...
Also, if it turns out the findings do find fault with the Lamplighter for running basically a criminal enterprise, over serving, violence against patrons, over use of Police resources....don't be surprised if past customers who have been similarly abused will also be filing lawsuits, for any physical damages, hospital bills and 'emotional distress'
The Lamplighter will probably not survive this....
addendum.... The Police department in that jurisdiction could be in hot water too if it turns out they've been looking the other way while they collect fines to fill their local coffers....I'm not saying they may be complicit...but...actually, i am saying they may be complicit
notice...there was no report of injury until Dina leveled charges forcing them to 'investigate' further, days went by before the Police dept announced the injured party...*complicity?*

RE: TMZ: Haley arrested?!?
This video is so bad for the bar. Dina LaPolt will have them either bankrupt or paying a huge settlement to Haley's friend, and possibly Haley. Haley to me did not look that drunk at all, and was trying to mediate this situation, when that asshole bouncer yelled in her face. She looks like she was calm and collected.
So even if Haley's friend got out of hand--throw him out of the bar. Why strangle the guy? Holy shit. Bunch of punk ass wanna be cops trying to punch out a drunk patron. Like I said, I hope Dina makes mince meat of that operation.
As for Haley, I think this exonerates her completely (even if she did take a well deserved punch at that asshole bouncer) and even shows her in a great light--standing up for a friend.
GO GET EM DINA!

I think an arm twist by Dina to get them to drop the charges on Haley and move on. On the other hand, her friend should sue their asses off and see how he likes running a club for awhile. BTW how did Haley end up as the only one charged here? It seems she had a relatively minor part in the action. If I was the bouncer who got punched I'd be so embarrassed right now. Exposed on national TV as a lame idiot.
Agreed. Haley should ensure she's exonerated, and then move on. It's certainly unfortunate for her friend (who should get a legal referral from Dina), and seems to have suffered the most. In the end, this will (hopefully) be seen as justifiable on her part-- and righteous civil disobedience (just like a lot of the late 60's actions are viewed now in retrospect)!. You can't buy this kind of publicity, as it were, and will prove fortuitous in terms of exposure. A few more articles in TMZ, Billboard, Variety, et al as the record release date approaches would be awesome.

Agreed, the original charge is a Misdemeanor, wouldn't be a big deal for any normal joe. Settle and move on.
There were posts as to Haley being a 'nobody' and 'who does she think she is' might have factored into her 'special' treatment.
I think it's telling that her friend being attacked wasn't even registered by the attending Police officers in the initial filing, which puts suspicion on the local Police force as to how they deal with the establishment and how they deal with their patrons...... I would not be surprised, as I've said before, that they like the revenue they get from these arrests from an establishment with a history of these types of things, that they've allowed to continue doing 'business'.
Haley's friend definitely should go after them, be prepared for some uncomfortable photos of the damage that was done to him when that part of this event comes to light, something that did not need to escalate, and the escalation falls squarely on the Lamplighter and their employees
