Haley is a perfect fit with Jeff Goldblum. He likes to ham it up during the performance, which is right up Haley's alley. All very smooth - like they've been doing it for years, as JLo might say.

So, I haven’t posted for a while, and so much is going on. Some random thoughts, questions. Excuse the length.

• Jay Michaels has been like a rocket blast for Haley’s career and it is so great to see someone who clearly loves Haley who wants to champion her. He is all over social media, responding to fans (like me), and apparently connecting her to new Hollywood contacts. Maybe he is behind Equality Vodka, the local LA TV appearances and more?
• Regarding fellow Pittsburgher Jeff Goldblum, just being associated with him should open many doors for her, and with his jazz album coming out later this year, Haley may have a shot at her first Grammy. And, he seems to be ECSTATIC about her when she is performing. AND, today as we all saw, Variety called her performance with Jeff and band at that festival a “standout” and she “knocked it out of the park”. Wow, considering the artists performing there.
• The Troubadour performance was terrific, and she continues to grow as a performer, owning the stage and the crowd. I love the new song “Expensive Taste” and shows Haley still wants to be true to her rocker roots.
• On the setlist I saw on Twitter there is another song called “Centerpiece”. Is that a new song? Any info on that? Maybe it is under wraps??? I know the Haley Team has some new rules on sharing videos. I would also love to see “Somewhere In Between”, her opener, on video.
• Glad to see “Lover Girl” made a sultry appearance. That tells me it might be under consideration for HR4. And good!
• So sorry, but Catie Turner to me was a real disappointment. Maybe she was nervous or something, but she clearly was not at her best. I did not watch Idol much this year, so maybe she shined on that show, but that night with Haley, her performance---was kinda weak and not so much for me. Haley was just in another zip code from her. Sorry Catie funs, MHO.
• Did her beau Drew join her at all during the show, on stage?
• Just think about this again for a moment. Robbie FUCKIN Krieger from the Doors played with her on “Light My Fire” Damn. Damn.
• And, so glad she is posting live performance videos on her YT channel.
• What is she going to do at the Improv? Sing, do some skits? Should be fun… I loved her on Kimmel by the way, and she kinda stole the show….

Anyway, great to be a Halien! Lots happening!
