That's what I'm hoping for too. From the comments, it looks Haley's picking up quite a few new fans. Tusk mentioned seeing that Haley had about 850 subscribers to her YT channel about a month ago. I looked on Jan 1st & she had about 875. She has 1156 right now, so she's probably picked up 200-250 in the past 36hrs, which is a really nice boost. I'd love to see her get to 2000 by the end of the month.

Hopefully there will be some additional publicity through media like THR. I doubt Yahoo will touch it since it is a YT (Google) video.
After listening to the song a number of times
I've come to appreciate Haley's performance more and more. She really knocked it out of the park, slayed it, and all the rest. This type of arrangement is really suited to her voice and style.

I have found I can listen to this song repeatedly while I work (write). Music is usually too much of a distraction for me to do that.

Why is it a top comment? Probably because there are 27 replies. Other replies are sprinkled throughout the comments section, which in turn occasion replies by Diabolus. This is unfortunate and reminds me of the AI days where the YT comments sections often degenerated into nasty troll fests.
The current Like-Dislike ratio for the video is 6,412 to 52. In other words, less than one percent of the ratings are negative (.8 %). That's about as good as it gets. I would encourage people not to let the aggressive outlier set the tone and drive the discussion. Silly comments about "paedophilia" are troll material, not serious or useful criticism. Ignore.

I find it so incredible that Haley can be so Contemporary and in tune with the most popular music of the times like "Rolling In The Deep", "I'm All About That Bass" and this "Habits" song and yet be courageous enough to tackle them with her own retro spin of Haley's Unique Style to really make it her own and in my opinion improve on the original. All three of those songs I hadn't yet heard of before Haley introduced them to me. She has made me Love music, old & new, of so many genres! Thank You Haley!

I replied to Diabolical Musica but then deleted it because why bother feeding into the troll? I commented about the irony of her saying she sounded like a 10 year old and pointed out the big bucks Haley will be making as a 10 year old in "F Is For Family"

It just seems like she's a bit too much of a scott fan.
It's hard to accept it sometimes, but occassionally people just won't like Haley. For whatever reason. Sometimes it's petty as all hell. And sometimes we have to remember that the things we love about Haley...her distinctive tone, her ability to control her voice any way she wants, her musical choices...stuff we find brilliant..others may not like it. I find people who prefer "straight" singers, people who care more about the lyrics than the sound, don't like Haley..for musical reasons. (I would say the biggest negative response she receives seems to be from country fans who live for that stuff in music.)
And that's okay. When "She sucks" or "She's a poor singer" comes up..they are wrong, technically speaking. And whatever..it's not even worth discussing with them (they probably can't hear pitch accuracy very well, either..) but "she's not my style.." meh..it's going to happen. There are people who would say that about Whitney or Ella too.
Also, about the ten year old boy stuff..look, there's a reason that shows get people like Haley to play a young boy. Listen to Hanson (when they were younger) or Bieber, when he was younger..or Usher when he was younger..She's got a thick raspy voice, but she sings in a higher pitch. Yea..so don't prepubescent boys. I actually can see where someone would hear that. But the same is true for Beyonce or for any other raspy big voiced female singer that sings in that range. Because, the truth is..prepubescent boys sound like girls when they sing..
