The storms in TX come and go very fast, but it seams like hours when you in them.

In my experience, Dallas gets more wind and lightning than Houston.
And snow and ice.
Houston gets more rain.

I do miss s the summer rains in Houston .The sky would get dark, than the temperature would drop 25 degrees in a few minutes, than came the wind and the rain.( horizontal rain due to the high winds) an hour later it would stop, the sun came out and nothing but humidity.

Not to be morbid or anything like that but I love the cold dark rainy days guess im one of the rainy day people. I should move to the great Pacific Northwest. My kids and I went fishing at lake Castaic and it was down 115 feet from normal the fish were gasping for air Ha.If we don't get rain soon Calie will be one big desert. Back to the dust bowl. yeah that was hard to deal with it. One hell of a Outdoor sauna.

There is something about rain, isn't there? It refreshes, it invigorates -- it just changes everything, doesn't it?
