^ LOL Buzz, funny guy! I watched some of his vids too. Great laughs. Thanks for bringing home the bacon Mr. Buzz Dude.
I Bacon
And nice Ronstadt vid FM! Here's one more Eagles cover. You might like it, they're a pretty good Eagles cover band. They'd be fun in a bar on a Friday Night

RE: The Eagles - Tusk - 11-13-2012
Just recently having a conversation about the merits of "Hotel California" I decided to look to see if anyone had done a 'Jazz' cover of an Eagles' song.... Found a couple, that were 'ok', but I 're-found' this cover of "I can't tell you why" by a Youtube artist, Ana Free (from Portugal).
She was one of the artists I was following when I was looking for something 'Fresher' than the stuff playing on the radio. (Of course my search ended when I found Haley)
Anyways, this is her cover, (only a partial) You can hear she also has a soothing rasp to her singing and speaking voice...just like Haley, and she is also an above average guitar player.
(I was really annoyed at myself to discover she just had a Stageit show last week, that I JUST MISSED ...well maybe next time )
And since we're a month ago from Xmas, here was what was once my very favorite Xmas Song. The Eagles cover of "Please Come Home For Christmas" sung by Don Henley

And for you Bluesman, Randy Meisner singing "Take It to the Limit"

Ana Free, I've never heard of her but I like it.
And yes, Schmit is a good singer, but he does have a very girly voice.

Great song choices Tusk! I enjoyed them both. ( I can't tell you Why and Please come home for Christmas) Ana Free is very good. I see one of her songs on you tube has over 1.5 million hits.
Gotta start thinking about xmas music soon.

And yes, Schmit is a good singer, but he does have a very girly voice. I started following her 4-5 years ago when she was just 18 and just out of college (In England)....She's since had at least one album out now and has been touring Europe extensively since...She writes her own songs but has many covers on Youtube
This one is gorgeous of "Angie" from the Roling Stones
This one is more recent...cover of Elton John's "Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word"
She also got to do a Portugese version of a Disney song for a Tinkerbell movie (Selena Gomez did the American version)
She has accomplished all this with a smallish recording contract, lots of videos and touring and performing. She hasn't 'made it' by any stretch of the imagination, but has a strong fan base who love her and go to see her....Not unlike what we see with Haley now....and hopefully more.

This thread hasn't seen much activity of late, but today, I'm certainly glad that it's here. I'm in an "all things Eagles" mood.
