Sounds like she sent him a private thanks, but I just think she should acknowledge when someone 'of note' throws their hat into her ring, a public thanks in a tweet is a simple enough way to accomplish this. Additionally, in Twitter, that would mean your tweet will also appear in their mentions, then fans, of the donating celebrity. Might as well take advantage of the social media opportunities. It may reinforce to undecideds that if these 'celebs' donate, then maybe it's worthwhile for them to also donate. PR/FundRaising 101

don't know if this is doable, but if you or anyone else can get the word out to Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Lambert, Conan O'Brien or the girls on The View as they were all big supporters of Haley. Now that's some big bucks!!!

I've tweeted to Ellen a few times, more to Tom Hanks, suggesting she could be in his sequel to "That thing you do"
, but to no avail.... Doesn't hurt to mention her whenever the opportunity arises, never know, might get a bite one of these times

Yah we noticed Slezak's sizable donation a few days ago, just trying to get Haley into the swing of the 'donation' game, by acknowledging 'notable' support
