Holy moly! I grew up watching the Flintstones, and while I'd enjoyed the theme song, I'd certainly never thought of it as a jazz jam. But these two "youngins" have, without a doubt, proven that it is indeed! What fun! Both of them are getting in seriously good licks! Phew!

REEEALLY nice version of Oh My!!! I love the sax part!
I just watched My Cake again. Man, do I LOVE that song, and especially this live version. As I was watching, I realized I had a huge grin on my face and I was getting those little head tingles that I get with a great performance. I particularly enjoy the extended jam at the end with Haley's trademark scatting. This bodes well for Haley's new music to come. I'm excited!!

Maybe we should be playing "My Cake" (and eat it too) instead of "Happy Birthday To You when Haleylvr4evr lights the candles on the cake at the Halien Shindig 8 days before Haley's birthday. Or if Sept 1st is 8 days before her birthday do we play "Eight Days a Week" from the Beatles?

They did the Flinstones as well, last night, with Haley scatting for a bonus as she joined in later in the song... (if I remember correctly, haven't watched the whole video yet, and have to check out soon)

Maybe she'll just burst into song, all on her own.
Of course, it wouldn't hurt to have the video of the song rolling, as she's being handed her cake.

This new tune is hard to get out of your head.I've watched it a few times-yeah I've been starved just like everyone else,I guess.Haley has such a natural and convincing feeling for the blues that makes the groove so infectuous.
And one thing is for sure-wherever else these two may go with their own individual careers they really need to keep hooking up like this.
