He brought his teenaged daughter who he said was not as excited as he, that changed, by the conclusion she was a total Halien. He hasn't been a Halien long. This is one artist that you have to see live to appreciate just how good she really is. Her recordings and idol performances are top notch, but her live show is something else altogether. She is mesmerizing and her current band does an incredible job of backing her. The energy is palpable. The big man on drums is a human metronome with a heart as big as he is, with an economy of movement that has to seen to be believed. The bass player pumped the grove, the keys ranged from sweet and articulate to downright funky, and the guitarist had a pallet of never heard before tones coupled with a laid back style that was melodic, tasteful , and when turned loose, he really got down on it. I have seen and some of the best of my generation and this young woman has the goods in spades. Don't miss seeing her if you can help it.
Michael told me he is a musician and he has jammed with well known artists, Neal Young for one. He has attended many concerts and said Haley is the best he has ever seen. There are so many comments like that. Tusk was talking to a regular at Belly Up and he commented that he has watched 35 years of outstanding artists at the venue and Haley was among the best.

It was a joy and pleasure seeing all the Haliens personally most for the first time that we have met through social media. In Petaluma we made arrangements to meet Ken and knew JMT was going and was pleasantly surprised that Tom22 appeared. It was fun feeling their mutual Halien energy and discussing our favorite songs off the Better Album. In San Francisco we bumped into Cecilia, the glitter painting artist who does beautiful Haley work. In LA so many Haliens so much excitement for their first Haley headliner including Jeff, Tim Wright, Collin Moore from Dallas, Rachel, Francesca, Tusk and we met a new Halien Curtis from Alaska. They travel far and wide to bask in the radiance of Haley aurora. Sadly our last Haley blast, Belly Up. My nephew Jason and his fiancé Mindy joined us, their first Haley experience. They kind of had this thing with Tusk they seemed to mesh quite well. Of course they got a pic with Haley but they also got a picture together with Jacob Luttrell & his new fiancé Jeanette something they can always cherish. They are total Haliens after the Belly Up experience. Jason said Mindy woke up the next morning singing all of Haley's "Better" songs.

Getting to know Tusks back story ISCAT and myself would like to thank him for his many contributions to Haley and her fans along with Rachel, Himm, Miguel, John and so many others foreign and domestic. Thanks so much it's a great time to be a Halien.....
