Wow, that's a shame.
I'm hoping he exits next week...but there's a definite shot he's in the top 5. (I'm concerned they'll use the save on Janelle next week, only for Amber to go home..or something of the sort.)
Amber finally won me over last night. I thought she was awesome. And for someone who definitely isn't into rock...she SANG that Heart song. Plus, I agreed with Nicki, she looked stunning.
I also thought it was pathetic that only Mariah had Candice in her top 3. Really. That girl is the best singer in the competition..and quite frankly, it's not close. Unfortunately, she hasn't continued to be better..(but she's been singing rock) but still. Ridiculous.

I posted at MJ's that Nicki was wrong, Lazaro is not Ricki Ricardo, he is Arthur Fonzerelli strapping on the skis as the speed boat is warming up
...I guess the good news is you can only go up from this season...or do I speak too soon?

I actually think that Piece Of My Heart is pretty underated.As for tonight when you see a show like that with Lazalo not only still there show but in the top three no less its pretty sad.
I'm only watching for Candice and I'd like to see someone win this year based on their vocal abilities.I'd like to see her do a ballad or something where she can lay back a little and not feel like she has to be a powerhouse to woo the judges because I feel she does have that kind of range.Honestly I've tried to find something in the other girls that would make me feel or see something above the ordinary-voice-wise or anything else and I just don't see it.

It would not surprise me at this point if Lazaro ends up winning...
The voting system on AI has always peeved me. When the tweens latch on to the cute guy it is hard to overcome. After Haley's season I quit marathon voting because all my favorites come in 3rd or 4th. Now I just go the Idol website and cast my 50 votes for my fav of the evening.

From what I'm hearing he's the only contestant that is generating some sort of buzz. So y'all better be prepared for the possibility of the producers keeping him around for a while. Of course this means he's gonna start knocking the girls out if true.

If the same judges are used in season 14 it may be just as bad. I've watched season 1 through 11. Not all the singers were good but most were entertaining. Once I noticed that the band and backup singers were more entertaining then many of the season 12 contestants I stopped watching the performance night and just watch the results night to see the special guests.

The girls are excellent this season.
I don't know that it's true that these four will pick bad contestants. I think they were told to pick guys that were likely to not be successful. (Notice no WGWG....)
Lazaro isn't going to win. He may come in fourth, but he won't win. He's not getting the cute tween vote. He's getting the sympathy vote.

Lazaro's getting the sympathy vote. The cute tween vote. And the screw Idol vote. At a time when many people are too apathetic about Idol to vote at all. It's the perfect storm.
