RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - Miguel - 05-29-2012 I was thinking "power rating" wasn't the same as sales, but just noticed at the top it says: NOW IN: 68.46% So maybe it is. ![]() RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - LegallyReinhart - 05-29-2012 Final numbers are in Haley makes 16 with 19,100 in total sales. Kris allen didn't even make top 20 and had approx. 3k less. RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - Flask Man - 05-29-2012 #16 and 19k... ![]() RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - Miguel - 05-29-2012 Slash and Myles closed strong. Haley was a couple of spots away from them and they finished at #6. Now we need to figure out how we can keep Haley up there. RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - LegallyReinhart - 05-29-2012 Looking at the state of the charts, aside from the John Mayer release, sales for all the new releases are in the dumps. Don't get discouraged that Haley "only" sold 19.1k. I still feel pretty strongly that Interscope will not be upset over these figures. They're not likely to be ecstatic, but I don't see this as doom and gloom at all for the Halester. And the only BRAND NEW artist to trump Haley was Kimbra, who is featured on the #1 song in the country (and even so is within 3k of Haley). RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - reyndevil - 05-29-2012 Here's me hoping that she will get more TV gigs to promote the album. I wanted to cry when I saw these numbers. RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - Miguel - 05-29-2012 There's this, from CBS News: Quote:The top 10 songs and albums on the iTunes Store RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - LovinDaHaley - 05-29-2012 Haley's stardom and fresh new sound still has much to overcome in regard to healing some of the auto-tuned ears of today's pop music world. I believe that her fame will continue to grow slow but it will be huge. I believe that Interscope knows her worldwide fame is imminent but will be a slow process; I trust they will continue investing to making it happen. ![]() RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - reyndevil - 05-29-2012 I'm going to shoot myself if they don't release 'Oh My!" on June. Everyone must hear Haley. RE: "Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total) - Flask Man - 05-29-2012 Too much emphasis on the sales game. It's like a continuation of Idol. Contest over, album is released, if it sells great, if it doesn't so what...we have a great album to enjoy. Obsessing for her to become a huge megastar is not what this should be about. As long as she's happy, respected and putting out great tunes I'm happy. |
