I hated Lauren on American Idol. But for whatever reason, I learned to love her after their season. So I am happy for her too. The same thing I would feel for whoever American Idol alumnus wins an award (esp.Season 10).

Scotty won last year and Alaina won this year. It's a fan-voted award so those results may not be so surprising. I think nearly everyone would agree Lauren's lost weight since she was on Idol (and looks better). Is it my imagination or does she have a stronger Southern accent than before?

S10 is boss!!!

Lauren wasn't one of my faves but I'm very happy for her, she's worked extremely hard this past year and a half.

I loved Lauren and Scotty (my favorite top 3 ever.) Although Lauren's fans got to me a bit on IDF.

But I never blamed her for that. It was clear she adored Haley. (Probably idolized her a bit.) One of the cutest things on idol was when Lauren looked like she was more excited that Haley made the top 3 than Haley. Tongue And after she (and Scotty really) stuck up for Haley while she was competing with her, I'll always root for her to do well.
