He was apparently scheduled to begin a tour a week from today.

Wow, thank God he, his wife, dog and unborn child are alright.

Hehe, love his facial expression in the pic, guess his sense of humour wasn't affected, LOL.

Guess he won't be able to play guitar for a while, but that won't stop him from touring, someone else can take over for that.

Poynter was issued a citation for careless driving.

Modern cars have crumple zones designed to collapse so they absorb most of the impact. They were hit hard enough the airbags deployed. Fortunately, they were wearing their seat-belts too (if not, they might have gone through the windshield when the car abruptly stopped).

While I was waiting to catch the shuttle from New York (Carnegie) there was a collision that happened just out of my view (I heard the Impact).

A cab T-boned a city sweeper, flipped the sweeper onto it's side....The front of the cab was completely collapsed into the cab, but the passenger area was completely intact, no compression at all. The cab driver walked out with nary a scratch, just really confused. It was amazing how well that design worked and protected the driver ExclamationExclamation
