Aww her face when she messed up Dont you just feel like hugging her right at that moment?

Well, yes, but it would be a bit awkward. She's a seasoned enough performer to go on. The good part is that this won't be remembered. It's when a performer screws up the National Anthem that is remembered.

And Haley performed the NA extremely well, including going for and nailing a high note (on the word "free") that used to (and, perhaps, still does) put fear in the most jockish of trumpet players.

Wow , Goosbumps. I have never heard Haley put that much power in to her vocals as she did with the NA and GBA .Maybe 3 octive range?dunno bout 4 where is a piano whan you need one?

So I was there today for the sox game and got to see Haley sing both, the national anthem and "god bless america". I thought she belted out the anthem beautifully though she did have a little mistep with GBA. Well, at least she did not stop and was her true adorable self!!!

So I was there today for the sox game and got to see Haley sing both, the national anthem and "god bless america". I thought she belted out the anthem beautifully though she did have a little mistep with GBA. Well, at least she did not stop and was her true adorable self!!!

I was at the game too. She did do a great job with the NA. I was under the big screen when she was singing GBA my husband said there were a few boo's when she stumbled on the words - but I did not hear them. She recovered great after she grabbed the hair on top of her head (which was cute and made me smile). I am glad I went to the Cell to see Haley even though I am a Cubs fan.

It's somewhat surprising that the White Sox management promotion wherever these decisions are made has been so slow to jump at this opportunity (Haley has not been shy about this dream), but at least it finally did and the timing was perfect.

Actually they have requested her to sing many many times starting with her hometown celebration last year but the timing has never been right until yesterday. She was on the Idol tour all last summer and with her living in LA there was never a time that the Sox were playing at home when she was home. Idol season 6 finalist Gina Glocksen often sang on sundays at the Cell instead.

Babbs...Haley would say: "Family first" so you weren't a fool to turn down my offer of the extra ticket. Now your hubby on the other hand since he's such a big baseball fan and the Sox had a thrilling victory over a very good Angels team...maybe he's the fool for not stealing what would have been your ticket and high-fivin' with me in the outfield!
