Hey.. thanks so much for all of these ! (only comment.. you need to film tonight from a different angle.. the lighting and the angle almost gave skinny little Haley a double chin and flabby arms ! not Fair for her lol .. ! (can anyone with a high speed connection and fancy video correction software adjust the lighting or filters to adjust that somehow (maybe even throw some skinny sexy pics in with a montage? thats a hell of a lot of file crunching though)

Back to the I LOVED it part !

Keith Phelps looked like he was having so much fun that he wouldn't mind to keep working survival wages if they could do gigs at bonafide Jazz joints. There are a couple in the SF bay area for sure(Yoshii's comes to mind, for one).. on the way up to Seattle from LA (I think Keith is still in LA) .. they could do something in Carmel/Monterey on the way up.

I don't think Clint Eastwood owns his awesome bar/restaurant in Carmel anymore but it sure would be great to get Haley in front of him somehow.. I don't have any connections though.. I should look up to see if He and George Lucas have any charity benefits they've lent their name to.. and would attend.. I wonder if there is a way to get her agent to weasel an invite/free appearance to something like that ... need movie makers who like Jazz to see her.

Will we ever get 'What You Don't Know' on a live performance? I'm just sayin...Haley wails, and I know, and it will kill me if you can't get her to perform it. This Buzz is for you...just a little begging is all I'm asking for Tusk. I'm not the only one that loves that song on this site.

If you're standing while filming, a telescoping mono-pod would work great Tusk...but then you might fall asleep...better to have cramps in your arms to keep you awake.

Tom, I've video'd her for awhile now and have seen the videos compared to the live thing...it's the camera, it does add 'weight' doesn't matter the angle. I realised that the first time I saw her live in Spokane.
(I would hope that noone 'steals' my labor of love, to 'improve' it, and a little disappointed you would encourage it )

I was stunned how beautiful and 'fit' she was, the next day I saw the video from Utah, her next destination, and I had to say WTF? It was as if she gained 5 lbs in one day.

I thought the 'camera adds weight' addage was an absurd myth until I witnessed it myself.

no wonder these "Hollywood types" starve themselves skinny...exactly for that reason

I want to make it clear that knowing her I didn't think she actually looked heavy but there were shadows that created the illusion.... and we know how superficial first impressions can be. Like you've all said.. its not fair for her.

(Woman do get it particularly rough,, it is Not as bad for men, but I know that in my days of cold calling in commercial real estate being fit (even wearing my suit and tie) helped get by the receptionists sometimes and get a bit longer listen from an office manager to hopefully get a handshake with decision makers .. certainly there are heavy attorney's and brokers so its not hard and fast by any means).

I do know my Sister* is careful not to photograph women looking up at them, unless they are professional athletes for more art shots. (she is a professional photographer and prefers more glamours stuff which she's been doing lately, had to spend her first year or so out of school at a legal newspaper taking photos of attorneys attending things like bar association meetings etc.. )

Again.. I so loved the music and I'm so happy Tusk shared it that I'm not trying to pick nits but brainstorm how to have them make the best impression on others that they possibly can.. maybe I shouldn't have said it but then again, maybe someone reading with different expertise has an idea ?

Tom, If you just created something, a labor of love, how would you feel if someone took it and 'improved' it?

We have enough issues with rights and piracy to suggest someone actually take a vid that I've made many sacrifices (by my own choice) to bring to Haliens. Just so she can conform to an arbitrary ideal of 'perfection'. Haley is a happy, fit and beautiful woman ....it saddens me that she might read something like this and start off on some destructive body image problem like many young women do nowadays.
(Any one heard of Karen Carpenter?)
