Tusk, thanks for the exhaustive recap, the videos and plugging HaleyFans to Haley. You've done so much in a day's time, I almost feel guilty for sleeping.

Who needs more than 3 hours sleep?

I wish I didn't now, the upload of "Wasted Tears" stopped as soon as the screen saver initiated I woke up and it read 330 minutes...... (Sigh)

It's a false reading though, in half an hour it dropped to 90 minutes. As soon as WT is finished I'm going to locate a Starbucks and hope that that connection is faster.

Miguel, like I told the Haliens last night, it's up to us, her fans, to rally for her if Interscope was unwilling. That's why I felt the story of Greg and Mona's efforts needed to be expressed. In their own way, they were spreading the word and their enthusiasm was sincere and appreciated, but because they don't blog or tweet, their actions go unheralded. (I can't believe how beautiful and professional the Haley poster looks and can't wait to hang it on my wall )

Thnx for all the kind words guys and sorry for the technology issues. It would be a shame if I can't upload these today, because after the show tonight, I'll only have 'til 3am until the shuttle picks me up for the airport, so anything I record will have to wait 'til Saturday (a niece and nephew birthday to celebrate when a tired Tusk returns home ).

I'm sure there will be MANY more Haliens tonight, hopefully they will have better luck with Internet connection issues

Tusk, if you've got people with you at tonight's show, remind them to applaud after the instrumental solos (You, on the other hand, just keep up the good camera work!). At a classical concert, it would be considered gauche, but with jazz --it's expected. And that gem that Keith laid down (last night) deserved it!

If you think that was good, you're going to love the Jazz set...extended Phelps Keyboards...sooo good, and Courtney gets his turn to riff as well

Can't wait (although I'll have to -- feeling guilty enough now.)

On little sleep, leaving my house at 2 am, finally arriving in Vegas @ noon, getting a room with construction going on next door and having to move to another room, getting a 3 hour nap and as of this writing, I've eaten nothing all day, only drinking two Fat Tire beers and a Sprite (they don't serve food in the Chandelier).....but you know what?

Since I knew this was going to be a lengthy performance, I didn't want to leave it to chance, so after I finally settled in in my room, I began backing up and clearing out all my memory cards and making sure all back up batteries for my camera were fully charged...all that done, I commenced to thinking about taking a nap so I was somewhat alert for the show. To make sure, I didn't oversleep, which would have sucked, I set the alarm on my phone, the room's clock radio and my tablet. There was no way I was going to chance missing this.

Even with my precautions, amazingly, I awoke 5 minutes before all the alarms I had set were to go off LOL. Every thing was charged and laid out....check and double check. . . .

The videos sound quite good. I just played WT and it sounded and looked excellent. Haley looks great. Thank you for the dedication.

When word of this starts floating around Vegas I bet the hotels on the strip will want her to be a regular in the clubs. She has that Vegas Vibe. Sure looks great under shimmering chandeliers! Eat yer heart out Interscope!
