It seems to be her new favorite hangout in Arlington Heights and their Calendar is empty for Saturday May 11th... the 2 year anniversary of her singing "I Who Have Nothing" and one of my absolute favorites "The Earth Song" on Idol in top 4 week before her hometown visit in Arlington Heights 2 days later. (We definately won't be inviting Randy Jackson) And, conveniently, The White Sox play Albert Pujols & Josh Hamilton's L.A. Angels at U.S. Cellular Field on Sunday May 12th at 1:10 pm.

My dear Sir Himm2, I haven't had the opportunity to truly read through these responses until now. Not inviting R.J. sounds like a really good plan ()! The rest of it does as well.

I'm in an early planning stage to see if it's possible. Eyeing the May 11th weekend but Mother's day complicates that...not necessarily for me but likely for others...unless mom tags along to an Angels vs. White Sox game. Sure would be great if we could get a Haley & the Reinharts gig at H.O.M.E Bar on Saturday May 11, with a party at my backyard stadium earlier that day.

I had another thought that I'd have to bounce off Haley & Family and get the longest serving Wheeling Park District commissioner onboard (who just happens to be my wife). Heritage Park is under a massive renovation project that includes a bandshell adjacent to where Haley worked for 4 summers. If the HOME bar venue for 1000 patrons doesn't work out I'm thinking Haley might think it's pretty damn cool to have a show adjacent to her teenage workplace:

You may be overestimating.
Round trip airfare to Chicago $200-$350
Saturday Night motel stay $70
White Sox game $35
Food & Drink < $80
music venue < $20
There would probably be enough cars around here to give you rides.
I'd guess half your estimate and if you drove maybe a third of that.
