Pharrell Williams - he's a hot producer right now and I thought he was pretty good on The Voice. Score!
will.i.am - ugh ugh ugh! Goddammit when is this dude gonna quit appearing on EVERY f*cking singing show?! Hate, hate, hate, pass!
Grace Potter - I love her band and she is one hell of a singer and performer, I don't know much else about her but I'll definitely check her out.
Kimberly Perry - I'm not a country fan so dunno much about her (she fronts the Band Perry), but I'm willing to give her a shot.

It looks like American Idol may be filling its last judging position soon! American songwriter and record producer Dr. Luke is reportedly in talks to join Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban for Season 13.
The 39-year-old, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, is now leading the pack of could-be judges after negotiations with Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am stalled due to monetary negotiations, according to a source. Translation: will.i.am wants more money and since they are probably paying a pretty penny to bring J-Lo back, that isn’t gonna happen.
If you’re wondering who Dr. Luke is, we’ve got you covered. Back in 1997 he got his start as Saturday Night Live’s house band lead guitarist. Since then, he’s been responsible for some of the biggest songs to hit the charts, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok,” and Katy Perry’s “California Gurls.”
It sounds like the producers are trying to get someone more similar to Simon Cowell, someone who works in the industry as a more creative type than as a performer.

Yes, indeed, it is looking as though they've signed Harry Connick, Jr. Frankly, I'm not sure how I feel about that. Yes, he is a musician, and, yes, he might not hesitate to be honest.
But, Randy Jackson is going to be the mentor, and as seriously stupid a decision that was (I keep thinking back to that interview between Ryan Seacrest and Steven Tyler wherein Tyler very succinctly stated "Randy's not a singer"). We know what happened last year when HCJ was mentor and Randy was a judge. Could make for interesting TV, but not be helpful to the contestants.
My other concern is that HCJ could be a bit of a hypocrite. Yes, I'm reaching back to another time, place, century actually, but I dearly loved everything about the movie When Harry Met Sally, including the music which included songs by Satchmo, Ella, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby. Imagine my surprise when I bought the "soundtrack" CD which did not have those original recordings, but HCJ, who proceeded to butcher most of those glorious tunes. Now, perhaps he's learned since that recording and his earlier days, and it was that learned experience that he was attempting to impart on Candice, Kree, Angie, and Amber. Perhaps.....

Houston, we finally having an American Idol judging panel.
After weeks of rumors, innuendo and premature reports, Jennifer Lopez and Dr. Luke Harry Connick Jr. have officially joined the Season 13 judges’ panel. The pair will sit alongside Keith Urban, the only returning judge from last year.
The news follows a summer of speculation about who’d snag the chairs left vacant by the exit of Season 12′s toxic combo of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, as well as human barnacle Randy Jackson, who’d clung steadfastly to Fox’s reality competition since its debut back in 2002 (and who is officially set to replace Jimmy Iovine as in-house mentor).
