Wish I could tell true stories to my future grandkids that I was part of the Trifecta that saw Haley live 3 times in one month in 3 different states!
I'll get the map/info to those confirmed partygoers. There will likely be some timing adjustments of the schedule once I hear from Harry of their revised itinerary.

Harry just called my cell while I was driving to further explain the Sunday situation. He wishes the booking company didn't wait until now to say Haley had to be in the parade as they were looking forward to a full day of fun with Haliens. Haley and all the Reinharts will be at the party but Haley may only be able to be there for a few hours after the parade and before another commitment she has later that night. It doesn't change too much as those interested in seeing Haley in the parade can leave the party for that and come back by the time all the Reinharts arrive. Harry & Patti don't need to be at Haley's evening event so they can either hang with us at the party or we can still all go to the 7:30 American English Concert.

That option we can play by ear if we are all having too much fun to leave for the crowded sunday evening concert. We will likely switch grilling to 4:30 rather than lunchtime and grab a noontime bite near the parade route. Feel free to chime in with any of your thoughts for the sunday party.

Call me crazy, but I went ahead and booked my trip to Chicago. I decided I would kick myself later if I missed out on this, so why not just do it? With a little schedule shuffling at work, everything fell into place. So, see ya'll in Wheeling for the Labor Day weekend! Smile

Oh, and NUG, I arrive at O'Hare at 8:34 pm, so I'd be ever so grateful if I could get a ride to the Westin with you. I saved a bit by not renting a car. You did say you wouldn't mind, right? Tongue

I just got chills of excitement Swanny at that news!! Now I bet MNB will get on board too! I told Harry you guys may be back to coming to the Wheeling Shindig after all. Hope you don't mind that I sent Harry your write up of the fun happenings in Vegas... Oh should I have followed the rule of "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas"???

I sent him your day two & day three write ups. It's kind of appropriate that the Parade that Haley will be in ends right near where the Shindig map says "HALEY AAF" which evidently was the site of an airfield that was abandoned before any of us Dad Fans were born.

So as an added incentive for us uncoordinated goofballs - you can try to spin one of Haley's own Hula Hoops around your waists. Harry was very concerned that the parade would disrupt our party plans so that's why it's a relief to him that we won't require that they be there all day.
