Hey, Swan and midnight, I'm glad you decided to join the festivities in Chicago. When we spoke about it in Vegas Swan, I knew you were going to give in, you had that look on your face like, "I really can't go, but I really can't miss it either." Then you flipped from "no", to "maybe" in less than 1 hour. 
Thanks again Himm for making this all happen, this is going to be one heck of a fun weekend, with memories that will last a lifetime. I look forward to meeting you and all of our fellow Haliens in attendance that I have not yet met, plus being able to see again the Haliens that I have been fortunate to have already met.

Yep. I'm a weak, weak swan. I really changed my mind once the Cosmo shows were over and I saw a possible long, dry streak ahead. LOL.

I Got That Covered. My wife couldn't resist a super deal on a label printer so those that I know are coming can have their forum name and real name and how far you've come for this shindig in a very readable font and you can chose to stick it anywhere you want as long as it's on yourself.
Oh and MAE - my wife recovered much more easily from her July neck surgery than she did from the February neck surgery. Thanks for asking. Yes she's mobilizing all of her best hospitality services.

It's all coming together...Captain Dinkens has the Con.
Mrs. Buzz and I are at the lake in northern
Minnesota for 12 days with our 6 & 9 year old granddaughters, our annual trip. The plan is one day back in the Twin Cities on the 29th and then drive to Chi-Town on the 30th. It will be a nice decompression break after the 12 days of quality chaos here...but that's what grandkids are for. 
Any word from Mayor Rahm...I see they're getting the shootings out of the way at the homeless shelter before we arrive. It's all good!

Please make sure to try and make this an annual Shindig, so those of us that unfortunately can't make it this year will have something to look forward to. Will be there in spirit and don't forget.....next year I will be there with my bells on! (god willing and the creek don't rise)
