Halien Party - Chicago, Labor Day weekend, 8-31-13

I don't care how much pizza or hotdogs everyone eats or where you eat it. I just want lots of videos of everyone stuffing their faces and having fun without me...

Poor cherelann, I wish that you, and MAE, and everyone else who cant come to Chicago this weekend could be there. A live feed would be fun... of the concert. But not of us stuffing our faces. hehehe

But don't worry, you'll get a full report of all the goings on at the shindig. I just hope I don't embarrass myself, or do anything stupid.

After seeing Harry tonight, I am getting very excited! Sounds like Haley and family are all preparing so hard to make sure this night is special. It's gonna be very cool seeing Haley singing with her family, and a full band, and playing like 20 songs!!! can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

^ 20 songs!! Oh YEAH!!! (You KNOW we will be demanding those encore numbers.) This is really going to be an AWESOME weekend!! All I ask it that it doesn't RAIN! Like MAE said, that will make me melt and no one wants that. Heat and humidity are fine--I'm used to those--but NO RAIN. See what you can do about that Himm.

Hello Haliens. As much as I really wanted to attend the Halien party, I am a DJ and have a gig this weekend which will prevent my attendance.

As it gets closer, with 20 songs and a full band planned, I am indeed feeling very jealous and envious. I look forward to all the great pictures, videos and stories from this weekend. Thanks to Himm and all the folks organizing this event.

And, PLEASE ask Haley and family if they can make this an annual event: HaleyFest, HaleyStock, HaleyPalooza or whatever. And most of all HAVE A BLAST HALIENS!

Had a wonderful night with Babbs and the Harry Peter Project at Firkin tonight!!! Harry pulled up a chair with us a few times and told us:
* They will be singing 18 songs + 2 more if we beg for an encore!
* The 8 piece band (including Haley, Angie & 2 keyboarders) has been rehearsing like crazy and will do so Wednesday & Thursday Night as well.
* They have a majority of Haley's originals that they are learning to perform together.
* Harry is more nervous about this upcoming night than he was taking the Idol Stage in front of 33 million people.
* I'm really getting excited about this!!!

So excited for the upcomming weekend even though I sadly can't make it (daughter's October wedding stretching my finances). Like many others I am put my trust in the fantastic Halien ground troups to come through with pics, stories and videos!
Full band AND 20 songs is amazing. Would really love to hear some LU songs never performed live before like "Follow Me" (one of my favorites) but will be really happy with any new songs.
