ZZ Ward's "365 Days" is The View's new theme song
ZZ Performed her new single on the [i]The View[i]last month & they must've really liked her because earlier today this happened
The View @theviewtv 6h
What do you think about our new theme song, "365 Days" by the brilliant @ZZWard ?
(I saw it because Chiara retweeted it almost immediately)
My guess is The View may be trying to tweek their image a bit and that combined w/ hiring Jenny McCarthy they'll be able to attract more male viewers.... Also, Hollywood Records & ABC are both own by Disney, so that makes sense for them too.
Their old theme song was American Girl by Bonnie McKee. Keep in mind they're not showing the video at the beginning of the show, (cause that would attract male viewers... the song itself not so much)
So they're going from this
To this
This might end up being the biggest bit of promotion ZZ's gotten to this point and she's already had quite a bit. In the past year & a half, she's appeared on Conan, The View, Kimmel, Leno 2x, VH1 Big Morning Buzz 2-3x, Good Morning America, & Last Call 4-5x. She's had various songs from her album appear in a lot of TV shows & promos for shows, gotten some (but not remotely heavy) radio airplay & her 1st single "Put The Gun Down" appeared in the movie "We're the Millers". Plus they've had her out of tour most of the year.
Her album was released in Oct. of 2012 & during that time has only spent 3 weeks in The Billboard Top 200, BUT it has spent almost the entire year inbetween #100 & #300 on the itunes Overall Album Chart, so it's probably never too far out of the Top 200.
It just goes to show, just how much media exposure it takes for a new artist even to get to the level that ZZ's at now.

Good for ZZ. I didn't even know "The View" had a theme song.
Bonnie McKee is 29 and apparently most successful as a songwriter:
Quote:Named Rolling Stone Magazine's "Best Secret Weapon" in 2011, McKee has co-written nine #1 singles that have sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
...Dubbed a "key player in pop music" by Hit Songs Deconstructed, she is professionally represented by Pulse Recording and Dr. Luke's Prescription Songs.

RE: Milo Greene, ZZ Ward, and Haley Reinhart
I'm still hoping for a Haley tour, seems like many of her fans are ZZ fans so, ya that would be a sweet 'scoop'...
(wishful thinking )
I was flip flopping on going, Haley has kind of spoiled me for live music events, getting to meet her afterwards for many of the shows, so I was contemplating paying the price for the MnG. $17 general admission, $100 for the Meet n Greet. Once it became a group thing, it's just a no brainer to do it
Quote:ZZ Ward - Meet & Greet Package
•One general admission ticket
•VIP early entry into the venue
•Exclusive meet & greet with ZZ Ward
•Personal photograph with ZZ Ward
•Specially designed tour shirt (exclusive to VIP package only)
•Autographed, silkscreened tour poster (limited print, numbered)
•Exclusive tour merchandise item
•Official meet & greet laminate
The Neptune Theater was once a movie theater in the University District near the University of Washington. It has since been converted into a concert venue, capacity of 800 (no chairs)
Quote:Architect Larry Johnson nominated the Neptune for landmark status back in 2010, when he said Sound Transit was thinking of tearing down the building for Light Rail. (Johnson says Sound Transit has since decided against that demolition).
Nearly three years later, the city is finally considering the nomination
Bonus is I don't have to fly to go there, just hop in the car and drive LOL
Sounds like it'll be a fun time.

RE: ZZ Ward
The LYRIC Video for "Last Love Song" was just posted to YouTube today. ZZ did a casting call for this, on social media, a couple months back, asking for fans in the SO CA area. The stuff they're shooting now is for the official video. "Last Love Song" is sort of the "Undone" of the album, so there's been a lot of excitement, among her fans, leading up to the release of this one.
I don't think LLS has been released to radio quite yet. I read, on HitsDailyDouble, that they're releasing it to AAA followed by HAC stations. Her 1st & 2nd single were mostly played on AAA & Alternative Rock stations.
I want to say something about Haley real quick too. Whenever she goes through these lights out periods on social media, like she's been doing quite a bit lately, it makes me think of something ZZ said in an interview. She said that she pretty much locked herself in her apartment for 3 months & wrote most of the songs on her record. I can't necessarily picture Haley doing that, but I think she is probably trying to focus on her songwriting & creating a great album right now w/ as few unnecessary distractions as possible. Sgt. Pepper wasn't written on Twitter after all.
