Sorry I haven't contributed to the stories and pics posted. I have been working non stop since returning, and I don' t think any pictures I have could top whats already been posted. But the trip was worth every penny I spent on it. Loved New Orleans! And Irvin is a very cool dude!

We are talking about professional photographers here, with expensive camera, few would be able to compare...

I thought when I looked over, you had some good closeups, didn't you video some with a closer shot on Haley?

I actually thought Haley might not show afterwards at Irvin's. I figured with last night, probably rehearsing all day, she was probably pooped. After a while, I considered possibly leaving to my hotel to post the vids. I think, a bunch of people who showed up thought the same thing and left after half hour or so.

Fortunately, Haley did eventually show up with Patti and Nikki, and the rest, they say, is history

Definitely worth the effort, I told Irvin as we left, I had so much fun, I felt I should give him money . Priceless and Unique don't even beginning to describe that night

I also posted their address, phone number and facebook link in the details. As well as telling Irvin the experience was worth more than the cost, I told him his Staff were Excellent, very hospitable, the Play House and entertainment were top notch and I will definitely promote it in my videos (I did a little plugging of his place in my Carnegie Hall vids, the vid for his piece dedicated to his Father) It's the least I could do.

I went to see a show, thanks to Irvin and his Jazz Playhouse, I left having had An Experience
It was the least I could do, besides, I definitely believe people should go there when in New Orleans, It is a 1st Class Place

Thank you Tusk and Miguel for posting all the wonderful videos and stories from our amazing trip to HOB in NO. And these new pictures ^^^ really give you the feeling of what it was like to be there at the show. I will say I could see Haley's sparkly gold eye shadow glinting in the light from the balcony.

...up on ebay so I could bid 500 bucks for it and give it to you for your birthday as a souvenir but I guess they didn't see the value in offering it to the highest bidding Haley fan.

Babbs, This is an open fansite, you should never feel limited in posting your shots or videos. I love to see things from all attendees perspectives of what's important instead of just the "pro" stuff as rewarding as that is. Much of your PS Pub camera work has been better than mine. Have a great birthday tomorrow. Hope you can get some well-deserved rest.

And Tusk, I'm truly glad to hear that the IM Playhouse is a first class place. About 3 weeks ago, someone in one of the departments that I work with told me that he was going to be traveling -- to a conference in D.C. I think, and then N.O this week. I suggested to him that, if he likes jazz, he should go to Mayfield's Playhouse (having never been there myself - gulp), so I'm glad to know that he shouldn't feel uncomfortable, should he go. Theoretically, we're having lunch sometime next week, so I should find out if he went.
