RE: [split] Haley in Vegas - January 2015
Mostly used airhigh's video because of the front perspective, but, with a little tweeking and audio 'cleaning', ISCATS Audio really made this video, much less crowd noise, since airhigh was closer to the crowd, thnx to you both
Credit for you guys in the video description

Piece of Constructive advice, no need for crowd shots during a performance, you can get those between songs or intermission and edit those in later if you want
I want to add, having had a chance to see clips of the other performers, these guys were right, would've been hard to make videos of the other singers, their voices mostly drowned/muffled by crowd noise. Haley's is the one that you hear distinctly even above crowd chatter

But it is tricky and can be a distraction during the song. One way to get audience shots is to do so at the end of a song. People often shut the recorder off immediately after the last note and in a live performance that leaves something behind. Having a camera that is further back and allows for zooming and pulling back often seems to be a good way to get audience shots during the actual performance.
Pulling back at the end of the song to see crowd reaction is a good compromise.

Nice job on the editing, Tusk! I like how you worked the two sources together. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the other songs.
It really was true that the other singers were much more difficult to hear than Haley was. Actually, I remember saying to Airhigh and ISCAT that I will have to look up some PMJ vids just to see what they actually sound like. I'm surprised that even Shoshanna Bean, who played in Wicked, didn't project more. It seemed like she had a big voice but it didn't come across. Haley's was the only voice that could be easily heard and enjoyed.
