Happy for Haley

We know there are many more millions of eyes and ears on Haley this year, Here's the graph for views on my channel starting from Jauary of 2015, just to get some perspective from the point of view of 'Haley activity' on my channel, before and after she joined PMJ



It took 26 months, from October 2012 when I started the channel, to gain 700K total views. From the beginning of this year up til two days ago, there have been 1.65 million views, in just 10 months. Last month there were 243K views, so if I can average 200K views a month for the next two months, it's possible that the total views on my channel could reach or pass 2 Million views just in 2015 alone

The graph at the very bottom shows the 'life' of my channel, so you can see the views activity prior to 2015, and how much it ramped up since the beginning of the year

(68K of a total 243K views last month was for "At Last" Laguna... )

Are you looking on your phone? I have trouble seeing some images on HF sometimes on my phone, though not on my laptop or PC...

I went to using Twitter because I'm suspicious of Photobucket, always advertising and pop ups whenever I use it :/

The images are on a free hosting site. I just happened to check in there last week after many, many months. There was a notice that they are going to a paid model. The images will quit showing up on forums, etc. Then after a brief period of time -- during which you can download them -- they will be deleted forever unless you upgrade and become a "premium" member.

So does that mean all HF avatars are using this site for the pics when we upload them? Does that mean we'd have to link to our own site in order to use an avatar instead of uploading them to HF?

I think there's been some things going on in the coding in pictures. It used to be I could click and drag an Instagram pic posted on HF, then use it in Photoshop.

Now when I try to use a jpg using a pic that was from Instagram, Photoshop won't accept it. I've tried it on Photoshop 7 and Photoshop elements. They no longer accept jpg's from Instagram.

In order to use the pics, I have to import them in Window's basic draw program, re-save it as a jpg, then my Photoshops will accept them.

I think they're trying to do something in the coding to help prevent people from using jpgs as easily

No, the only images it affects are ones I personally uploaded to the image-hosting site in the past. If you uploaded something here, it's on the same server as the forum software.

I think Instagram has changed how photos are displayed to make it near impossible to link to them. Maybe HTML 5 gave web content providers more control.

I find on my Mac computer at work that if I save an image to my desktop now I have to manually change the file type to get it to display.

Here are a few observation that might fit the Happy For Haley thread. This is not exact, I haven't been taking notes so it might not be hitting the bulls eye, completely, but I think it is on target.
A. Creep, it has been averaging over 35 thousand a day for months but this last week it jumped to 50 thou & Halloween it did 62 thou. Haley is PMJ's top selling artist on the jazz chart aside from Scott himself.
B. Saturday ICHFIL had dropped out of the top 100 iTune Pop Chart & totally out of the top 200 big chart. Today it is back up to 43 Pop & 131 All Chart.
C. Yesterday Creep was 25 Jazz Chart, today it is back to 13. Haley always has four of the top five spots on the Jazz Chart. The only PMJ artist that can stay in the top five, for Scott, with Haley is Kate Davis & "All About That Bass."
D. I was disappointed last Holiday Season, BICO only increased about 20 thou views. Since PMJ and "Habits" it has increased 90 thou views, it will be interesting to see how well it does this season from Thanksgiving to New Years.
F. If you type American Idol into iTunes you will see that Haley has two of the top three selling songs. Phillip Phillip's "Volcano" is the other one. I believe Haley is Idols top seller since they started selling on iTunes. Those numbers don't lie. Haley didn't just win season ten she has won every season since.
I don't have answers to the sudden increase in "Creep" but I assume ICHFIL is climbing back up the charts because of TV time & Spotfly spins. It's all good and makes for happy Haliens.:

While the views for most of her other videos are steady, I have noticed that increase in Creep views in the past week or so. Yesterday it got 46.7K views.
