Spotify's "suggested song" (by Andy Williams) was a terrible suggestion. They must be trying to coerce people to pay for premium to take control from them.

Spotify related but not about the lists...

For PMJ as artist on Spotify Haley has the top four songs. Numbers are lower than on YT. Creep at 9.6 million spins is #1, followed by SNA (4.6 million), Habits, and Lovefool. Oops! is also in the top ten.

Under Haley as the artist, CHFIL is #1, and positions 2-8 are all PMJ songs (AATB is missing from the top ten). At #9 is Undone and Free comes in at #10.

On Spotify, Casey's 2012 album is significantly more successful than Listen Up! Get Out and Simple Life each have about 7.5 million listens, and HTRJ has 2.9 million.

Better has the big hit in CHFIL at 60 million, followed by Better (343K listens) and My Cake (186K).

BIY is approaching 18K listens.

Intreresting numbers. "Get Out" might have benefited from the increased exposure brought by that Keno remix. Another thing that might help is a song being relatable and listenable-on-end as Spotify counts streams on repeat when at least 30 seconds of the song is played. Familiarity would seem to be another factor, which makes covers a good choice due to their discoverability and playability. That said the covers on Haley's new album may need some additional exposure like CHFIL received as they are not current songs and the people who relate to them are older and thus less likely to be using Spotify.
