At tonight's Ariana Savalas show in Southwest Chicago - Ariana took Me & Harry Reinhart under her wing...and her other body parts as she dragged me up on stage and sat on this Santa's lap and gave me a kiss on the cheek. After the show we chatted with her for 20 minutes and did lots of picture taking. She also recorded a snapchat to Haley Reinhart while she was cheek to cheek with Harry and said: " I'm with your Daddy but he's my Daddy now". Barb has a video of me of Ariana dragging me up on her couch on stage that she'll upload. An added bonus was James Durbin performing in the Arcada Theatre below the club we were in so we stop to see his band for awhile. Fun Fun Night...it always is with the Reinharts!:

So sad, an old employer of mine has just passed away at age 91. He employed me, at age 17 & my musical & vocal band full time, 5 nights a week, from 1971 to 1975 on three separate properties, in 3 different states...at his beautiful nightclubs, & hired me once again on most of his 'Monday Nite Live' events, held during years 1974 thru 1979. I was at the Playboy club so often, they made me an honorary member in 1976! 'Rest in peace Mr. Hefner' ..you were not only kind, but one of a kind, who built an incredible EMPIRE!

That is interesting. I read his obituary yesterday in the Chicago Tribune. They noted he was originally going to start a Chicago city life type of magazine .

His initial idea was to start Chicago city magazine, an aim he redirected in 1953 when he found he could rent a naked picture of Marilyn Monroe from the Baumgarth Calendar Co. for $200.

And so Hefner put together the first issue of Playboy on his kitchen table.
