Good news...Eric Alper is going to have Haley on his Siriux XM show this weekend.  Eric has told me via DM that he really likes Haley.  This is a pretty big deal.  He has over 670K followers on Twitter.  Hoping she will perform, but not sure.  Great news for Haley!

Not alot new on the interview, although the questions were well presented.  They went over Haley's work w/ Goldblum, her album, #FiFF, the differences between being w/ a major label and independence, Haley as an old soul, Haley likes to be put on the spot, as what happened w/ Golblum because it makes the creative process fresh.  She also revealed her gig last night was  w/ Robby Krieger (not sure but I think she could've brought Balam & Zephyr w/ her).  She says one of the things she loves about performing w/ Krieger, he's open to trying different interpretations of his songs.  She guesses that she might have performed seven different takes on Light My Fire with Robbie at his gigs.

So, I have asked about attendance during her tour so far, and it appears all of the venues have been crowded and full, which is great.  Most venues so far are 150-200 in capacity.  I think she may sell out in New York City.

I guess the big news is that Jay Michaels is leaving Haley as her manager.  I think he was great for her with his enthusiasm and interaction with the fans. Also, he appears to have been helpful with his Hollywood/LA connections.  Hopefully, Haley will find a new person with just as much excitement and support of Haley going forward.  

If he reads this, thanks so much Jay for all you have done in the past year or so for Haley...!

is anyone willing to share a recording of the new song she debuted on this tour? change? I was unable to make it to the NYC show this time around. curious to hear new material and see what direction genre wise she took. thank you in advance

Jay contacted me to not post "Change" before he went on his own course (I had tweeted a link and I guess he thought I posted the video and asked me to delete my tweet/video), so when I talked to Haley after the show, I referred to his DM and asked her if "Change" would be OK to post (It's always better to get from the source, sometimes managers are the ones who decide), Haley confirmed that she doesn't want it posted because they'll want to release it.

After seeing 6 shows on this tour and several on the previous two tours, I've decided that Zephyr is my favorite of Haley's tour bassists, he especially stood out on this song, and I'm normally a 'guitar' person, I've not noticed a bass player like him for Haley like I have with him, Zephyr's bass really brings the funk.  I hope they record "Change" with him on bass.

I had said my best audios to date have been Santa Ana then Chicago from this tour, even though I was only allowed to video w/ my iPhone, I'd have to say after reviewing and editing last night that my NYC is even better than those.  The audio is very balanced, clean, you can hear every instrument, and none overwhelm Haley's clear vocals.  Especially the case on "Change" so it's a bit of a bummer that I can't post it right away, but it's Haley's decision.  I can't wait to hear her studio of it, and with her touring band as part of her recent production process, I imagine we'll see "Change" released sooner rather than later

Rumour has it there will be Haley Xmas music.  I think Miguel posted something about Damiani saying he got to produce some xmas songs for Haley.

From a recent interview, I'm not 100% sure Haley will focus only on producing albums, she seems up to releasing singles as well, like she did w/ the recent 3 "EP" singles, or collaborations like w/ Vicetone.

In the interview, she stated something like being an independent artist means she has the freedom to release content how and when she wants, that in today's music business, it's about content.  If anything this brief time with Jay has done IMO, it's that Haley has gained more confidence as an independent w/ his support.  When I spoke with Harry, he said that he liked Jay because he had incredible enthusiasm for Haley and was willing to put in the leg work for her....which might have been a reason she was so productive during his year with her.  Good luck to him for the future.
