I'm hoping it's because since it's taken this long to put out, due to the pandemic, that she decided to go ahead and add some more songs to make it a full LP?  This isn't unprecedented for Haley as many OG Haliens will recall that Ole rewarded Haley for CHFIL's success by financially backing, then turning "Better", originally going to be a six song EP, into a Full album.

Yesterday, Haley posted in a story that she was going to be making music again w/ Robbie Krieger, while showing the inside of a studio....so not a charity event this time, but in a recording studio...it'd be unusual if she releases whatever this is as a single while still having an EP pending, so maybe this tune will be added to the *album*?

She released two songs from the EP already, "Roll the Dice" & "Off the Ground", a third single leaked in a story by a crew member, makes it 3 of six songs that are known, which means just 3 left to be revealed?  I'm thinking that it's more incentive to promote the EP to an album, so we can have 6-7 songs to look forward to, better incentive to buy the album....

At least that's what I'm hoping....

(In general, when I get permission to video a show, I have little time to talk w/ Haley, so I rarely ask her questions that might take time to answer, like an update on the EP, since we both have things to do before fans are let in.  I know Haley's time is valuable, especially before a show, and she likes to keep things she works on as a surprise for fans, so my interactions are usually brief and require quick answers....  I try not to be a 'pest'  in my short opportunities w/ her  )

I have a feeling this extra time to make the EP good will pay off.

I can definitely see it become an EP into LP thing. Hoping that's in the stars!

I'm excited for a fresh start to the year so any updates from my faves get me ready to look forward to something.

For ex. Hanson put out only singles last year and ended the year with a shortened album.

Kris Allen did the single thing too and looks to be continuing that format into 2022...

Haley is an outlier because you never know what she may come up with or have to release/promote.

I'm thrilled at the thought of her (Hopefully?) touring this year maybe in the fall? I don't want to get my hopes up but I see this year as being a clean slate for some folks if not everyone who's a independent artist in the music industry.

Looks like maybe this was what the story post was regarding, Haley will be performing the Star Spangled Banner and one Doors song at an opening in Burbank.  It'll also be Robby's birthday tomorrow
