Some of the largest names in the music industry will come together on Wednesday night for "12.12.12 The Concert for Sandy Relief," and through several live streams and social media integrations, the charity concert will reach an unprecedented amount of people.

"This has become a global event," Zena Burns, VP of digital programming platforms for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, told Mashable. "Between TV, radio and online streaming on YouTube, Hulu, AOL, iHeartRadio and Time Inc brands, the concert will reach nearly 2 billion homes worldwide as the most widely distributed music event in history."

Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Roger Waters, Kanye West, Eddie Vedder, The Who and Paul McCartney will perform at the one-night concert at 7:30 p.m. EST at New York City's Madison Square Gardens, benefitting victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

Roger Watters, formerly of Pink Floyd,just let out on Jimmy Kimmel's show that He will close his set with Eddie Vedder doing the vocals for the song "Comfortably Numb"
