Chad from Ole has been tweeting endlessly about Socan (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada).

After thinking that he was attending a very long convention, it hit me, "Did he change jobs?"

Sure enough. His Twitter head now says,

SOCAN has announced that our nearly 700 members working in California now have Chad Richardson in their corner to help promote and advance their music,

...Most recently, he was Creative Director with ole, Los Angeles, where he played an instrumental role in signing Steven Tyler and Timbaland. Over the years, he’s worked closely with SOCAN members Jim Vallance, Alan Frew, Dean Brody, Shiloh, The Novaks, film and TV composer Craig McConnell, and others. He has a wealth of experience introducing songs to music supervisors, placement in television and video, song critiquing and guidance, and sourcing co-writing and industry opportunities.

...Richardson also played a leading role in organizing seven songwriting camps in various locations, including Sweden, Greece, Virginia Beach and, most recently, Los Angeles, where he co-presented a camp with Roc Nation for Rihanna.

Ole's creative department is now all Nashville based. That could be why Haley was in the area some months back. Will they replace Chad? With someone from outside Nashville?
