MJS put up a list of favorite performance from each season to mark the 10th anniversary of AI.
MJS Top AI performances from each of the last 10 seasons
As you might know, MJ is, at best, barely responsive to Haley to the point of almost dismissive (beyond posting news on Haley when it happens). She posted Casey's "Your Song" as her favorite from S10.
It did my Halien heart good to see so many of the comments list Haley and her songs as their best for S10. Haley by far had the most votes for best performance of that season (as well as posts wondering where Haley was on the list) Which had MJ conceding,

^^^ I like Casey Abrams and I loved his American Idol Top 11 performance of "Your Song". But "Favorite of the Season"? Not even close! I liked at least a 1/2 dozen of Haley's performances way more. Overall and all things considered, "I Who Have Nothing" is my personal favorite.

It was a gamble to perform "Moanin'", make no mistake, and Haley and Casey nailed it, big time.

Moanin in MHO was an absolute "moment. She had quite a few "moments" on the show - I am a huge fan It was my first year watching the show. Haley did what she had to and her mission was accomplished :angel

I was surprised by how many comments on MJ's listed Haley's performances as the best from S10...and the variety of performances. HOTRS, Bennie, IWHN, You and I, Moanin, RITD, WIWSNB, Blue...all were referenced more than once. She had more moments than anyone that season.
Where were all the Scotty fans...hardly any mentions of his performances as most memorable for S10. Maybe cute boy fans are more musically detached?
