Carnegie Hall w/Mayfield - TICKETS NOW ON SALE

I recorded all 2 hours and 41 minutes of this "EPIC" night on my DVD recorder using the audio from WWOZ and the video I mixed in as it was recording as a slideshow of the NY Reinhart family photos, rehearsal photos and my Carnegie Hall photoshopped images. When Casey sang "Hit The Road Jack" I had his jumping from the couch with Haley photo, When Haley sang I had a brightened video from the classic Youtube where Irvin Mayfield had his mind blown by Haley's Jazz talent. While the other performers were playing I scrolled thru all the Idolforum thread about this event followed by all 33 pages of this Haleyfans Carnegie Hall Thread. I also included this morning's CBS NY "The Couch" interview. I'll send you a DVD of it Tusk and I'll deliver one to the Reinharts.

Excellent or Epic is not OTT for this event. Miguel you are going to have to buy some more bandwidth for all the good stuff Tusk will be posting.

Sorry Buzz, but Tusk isn't very good at the spy game, the camera I bought was crap like I suspected, and before I realised others were filming, my attempt at videoing (without aiming) isn't worth it.

But one Hell of a night...met the Reinharts, got a hug and a kiss from Patti, got a REAL pic with Haley, not some fuzzy thing...and maybe got her to perform "Wonderland" next week on Stageit

That girl was one of the two in my story, her mother didn't capture the first hug so the girl asked Haley if they could do it again for the pic

LOL you know my policy on posting pics of myself, I would never presume to ask for a hug .
(I enjoy and am protective of the modicum of contact I have with them, and would never do something to jeopardize that. Fine for a young girl who has Haley as a role model...the rules might be different for me )

Besides, I got a BIG hug and a peck on the cheek from Patti out of the blue, so I'm good

I asked Haley for "Wonderland" next week on Stageit. She told me she would remember that...that's good enough for me (fingers crossed)

Nice find. The show last night got me thinking back on the whole scenario that lead to Haley performing at Carnegie Hall. Definitely in the que sera sera vein. It's quite extraordinary to walk into a club in New Orleans one night, go on stage with an accomplished jazz musician(s) who doesn't know you, and make such an impression that he asks you to perform with him at Carnegie Hall. Fairy tale material.
