Sorry I never replied outcast.
First, what I like is only what _I_ like .. a 48 year old guy isn't going to necessarily like what his key audience likes !
I like the first two songs.. the songs themselves ; Like I got over you and you're not along.
What doesn't get me going is the band. It could be the recording.. it could be the venue or the sound or that they were rushed into performing or whatever.
I'm not saying they were bad by any means.. but I've got to REALLY like the band to like that kind of music ... they're not above the singer necessarily but the singer feeds off of their energy (which doesn't mean sweating up a storm in a tizzy .. its how they put their notes together)
I loved that Christmas number a while back I'm not sure if the guys above are the same but here is what YOU wrote about who they were:
Quote:The drummer is a beast and one hell of a showman. His name is Jeff Fabb and he's one of the best metal drummers in the biz. The guitarist is Blake Bunzel, both are former members of the metal band In This Moment. Blake is actually a rhythm guitarist but appears to be playing lead on this track. I'm not entirely sure but if that's the case I'm really impressed and severely underestimated his abilities. When James was touring Blake was mostly in Dylan Rosenberg's (James' former lead guitarist) shadow.
James played bass on this track as he longer has a bassist. I'm impressed with the job he did on bass here,
