The El Rey Theatre is an original art deco theater in the heart of the Miracle Mile, one of Los Angeles' preserved art deco districts. The El Rey was built in 1936 and designed by Clifford Balch. After over 50 years as a first run movie house, the El Rey was converted into a live music venue in 1994. A registered Historic-Cultural Monument, the El Rey has sweeping staircases, an art deco lobby, VIP balcony lounge and a grand ballroom equipped with a full stage.

The El Rey is a general admission, standing room venue, unless stated otherwise in specific show details.

Haley's voice is very distinct even in a crowd
(Reminds me of Carnegie as I could hear Haley laughing and having a good time while she was sitting behind me (fortunately with a jazz background instead of that dance beat ). I could listen to that voice all day )

I thought of your other daughter today when Tony & I had lunch at the newly (re)opened Twin Peaks restuarant by the Wheeling Westin (formerly Claim Jumpers). Our waitress's name was Angie and we had a great time and a pretty good meal. If your Angie got a job there she'd make real good money but I don't think you'd like the outfits she'd have to wear. Cheri & I went to dinner there last weekend also. Great sports bar with added benefits!
