RE: Haley in the Wild
Aww--I love their friendship too! It's so sweet. I really hope they do an EP or little tour together.
As far as dating "for real"" maybe one day we will hear them duet on this song:

RE: Haley in the Wild
Dimples claims to be America's oldest karaoke bar and was featured on the show Bar Rescue.
Quote: One night in 1982, Sal Ferraro went to a party in Hollywood and met a machine that would change his life. Someone had brought along The Singing Machine, the first karaoke system available in the U.S., and Ferraro saw an opportunity.
That year he opened Dimples, America’s first karaoke bar. Located in Burbank, just steps from television and movie studios galore, it was an instant hit with entertainment industry insiders and local celebrities.
...By the time Jon Taffer, the host of “Bar Rescue” on Spike and his crew came to visit this winter, Dimples was a dusty relic with a lackluster sound system, an 80-year-old karaoke host and nearly a quarter million dollars in debt.
Quote:Ferraro wasn’t just a lackluster host. His dated jokes and lascivious stage presence made women feel uncomfortable and unlikely to come back after one experience at Dimples. He would repeatedly suggest that female performers do a pole dance while on stage and according to pre-”Bar Rescue” Yelp reviews, Ferraro was also known for making groups of women on stage sing the Black Eyed Peas song, “My Humps” even when they had requested a different tune.
... If a group came in to celebrate a birthday, the bar would send the table a whipped cream-topped sundae that Ferraro would insist on placing on a man’s lap and then having one of the women in the group “kiss” the top. Birthday girls would be the kissers, birthday boys would lend their laps. Customers hated it.
“It was awkward as hell,” says Taffer. “I mean, you can look at certain things say ‘Well that’s a little dated, that’s a little unusual,’ but this was not that. Girls were shocked by this thing, it was bizarre. If you looked at their faces, it was like someone making a spectacle out of you in a vulgar and unfair way.”
Quote:Finally, they installed a state-of-the-art karaoke system designed to make even the lousiest singers sound great. “Technology is really important, if you don’t sound really good to yourself you’ll never do it again,” Taffer says. “You need to get the audience to scream and yell -- when people feel like they’re singing in Carnegie Hall the bar fills up.”
