I really hope she's going to get involved with Capitol.

They let artists have creative control. They let Mary Lambert put slam poetry on her album. And she's working on a second album despite not having a huge commercial success. So I've seen some decent things out of them.

Question is, whether they are interested in distributing her Better EP, or whether they are interested in her after her EP is out. (Or I suppose she could be eating lunch with a friend, but boo on that.)

I went to High School with Haley Reinhart, who was a semi-finalist on American Idol and is a huge contributor to Postmodern Jukebox, which is that band that plays all those old-timey renditions of newer songs on Youtube.
She could have easily been one of those mean girls in school. She was popular and pretty and practically a celebrity at our school because of her voice, which, if movies have anything to say about it, could easily imply that she was a mean person to the people around her. In reality, she was one of the kindest people in my grade. I was bullied hard by a lot of pretty girls at school, but she always treated me with the utmost respect. I never heard her say anything negative about anyone else in a gossip-y way. She was just a stand-up person and I'm glad that she has gotten as far as she has with her music.
