About the 2:55 mark he is asked if he keeps up with any of the Idols. He says Stefano was his best man and he is dating Haley so she was there as well.

Stefano is now dating Haley. They’ve been dating for awhile, so she was there with Stefano.

So we get the confirmation from James? This only solidifies what everybody really new in the first place that they were dating. It sounds conclusive. So the rumor has been rejuvenated. I just hope it doesn't affect what's going on with Haley's new album in her single. After all, there are a lot of people that don't want to see Haley and Stefano hook up. And when it comes to things like this, people can be really fickle.

I don't think it will hurt Haley. It might have if it was news during the show when some people were looking for reasons to disparage her. I think many Idol fans will now find it romantic they found enduring love on the show. "Enduring" at least in the sense that it outlasted their time on the show. If anything, it might hurt Stefano and his chances to be a young heartthrob.

"Dating" is a broad term. Haley and Stefano have been seen on dates on various occasions but they both are focused on their own careers right now and, at least Haley is quite busy. In the context of the interview it seemed that James was offering the dating aspect as the reason that Haley was there. Maybe he wanted to stir the pot a bit and give Stefano some press. For stephano, the wedding was a good way to get Haley out on a date. I don't think there is anything new revealed in the interview, but I'm sure it will be oxygen for the shippers.

As far as Stefaho goes, I think he probably views being seen with Haley as a good career move. She gets everybody's attention and classes up his image. If it causes him problems on the heartthrob front he could leak that they broke up or something and get a little press from that.
