. Dating is a very broad word here are a few examples. A social appointment engagement or occasion arranged beforehand with another person. A person with whom one has such a social appointment or engagement. Example can I bring a date to the party. So, whether they are just hanging out, going out to dinner, blah, blah, blah or are they romantically involved you can take it up with Idol forums. They always have good discussions on that, and Casey knew what he was getting himself into the both of them were very clear that they are not dating. They are not romantically involved but that their styles of jazz meshed together. So I don't see why Casey should be surprised. I wish the both of them would just focus on their careers. Haley has a good shot for taking the title for best new artist in a Grammy nomination. But whatever we will see. This topic has a lot of deliberations and people will come to their own conclusions.

It was news to a bunch of people on Twitter. The reaction was weird with many tweeting "congratulations" to Haley and Stefano as if they had just announced their engagement.

It is weird, since Haley & Stefano have said nothing. Like your neighbor congratulating you on facebook for starting to date after your divorce, because he saw something on twitter.

The whole Durbin interview came off to me like, "We didn't invite Haley, she came to the wedding as the best man's date!" In addition, I would like to be the one to out them on the dating thing.

You know... I'm not at all concerned about Haley and Stephano. It's natural that she would gravitate to someone she has something in common with. Besides, Everyone knows Hollywood romances are quite temporary.

I am having a tough time trying to rationalize the whole loose-lips-James thing though. IMO, he was way out of line. I don't buy into the theory Stephano put him up to it or that it was a simple case of a slip of the tongue. Is it possible there may have been a little jealousy involved. Perhaps she was receiving a little too much attention at his party.

Well when you watch this youtube, it becomes rather obvious that Haley and Stefano have been having a thing going on for quite a while.

Haley's living out her dream and I don't see her have the time or inclination to get too serious in the romance department right now. It's not like she and Stef have been inseparable.

For some reason I think of it as kind of like a baby that drops a spoon on the floor and gets all excited by seeing that the action affects the environment. James and the others from Idol have learned that they can say certain things and it ripples around the media. I can envision James giggling in delight about his handiwork and jokingly texting Stefano his apologies.

So in the meantime, I do agree with the Hollywood relationships. Sometimes they do. But most of the times they don't last. It's just an attraction. Give it some time it will all dissipate.

Could be. AI was an intense experience that these young people went through together and clearly some strong bonds were established among various contestants. After all, Stefano was James' Best Man. But Haley and Stefano are both very career focused and they will continue to be busy, they will be traveling, and they will be meeting lots of interesting people. While the cliche is that absence makes the heart grow fonder, in many cases absence makes the heart wander.
