ANNOUNCEMENT: American Idol's Phillip Phillips (Season 12) and Haley Reinhart (Season 11) set to open Under:40 Music Marathon in September. Over 50+ acts/bands (over 150 musicians total) help Pink Jams and Hard Rock Cafe Washington D.C. Official Page kick off Pinktober and breast cancer awareness month. Beginning on September 28, musicians will play back-to-back continuously for 40 straight hours, drawing attention to Pink Jams' important under 40 mission. General Admission and VIP (Meet and Greet!) On the homepage of their website, they show two small pictures of Phillip and Haley, and mention them by name. No other musicians are shown or named. So I guess they're sort of the headliners though they perform first.

This is so nice to see - Haley paired up with the winner of Idol. Haley is a winner and I am glad to see her highlighted along with the winner. She so deserves the recognition because she has a fantastic CD and those songs should be on radio. Look at the artist, Alex Clare. It took him quite a while to get his songs finally played on Z100 radio - the largest radio station. He was lucky enough to get a song played on the Internet commercial. He has another great song too that will be heard after "Too Close" peaks.
Haley deserves to be played on Top 40 radio. I don't get these Program directors at all.
