Thia posted a video today from a trip she took to Taipei. She performs Rolling in the Deep

This tour was under Fox International Channels as a promotion for American Idol Season 11 on Starworld. I don't remember the exact title of the show, it was a super busy day that day, we made a quick stop over at the studio, but I think it's University Fun. All I know is that it definitely was FUN and that the people in Taipei were so kind and sweet.

Stairway2Halien found a FB page indicating Haley will be doing a morning radio show in Taiwan on the 26th.

Terry and Vicki have an incredible week lined up for you. If you are an American Idol fan, Hailey Reinhart will be live with Terry and Vicki on Wednesday morning, Sept. 26.

This is good in one sense because it indicates Haley will get to spend a day in Taipei after traveling so far. It's bad in that it delays her return to the U.S. where she has a performance scheduled on the 29th. Jet lag might be setting in at that point.

Taipei is 12 hours ahead of Washington DC, so she gains half a day.

Will she return to LA first or fly directly to DC? I think I'd opt for the latter.

I think she'll go straight to DC. Otherwise she's just doing more traveling across the country and be more stressed. Then she can just relax in the hotel room and cool down after the long trip

I have heard several musicians who may not have made it big in the US , but do very well overseas.

Another very recent example, also an Interscope artist, is Lana Del Rey. Her Born to Die album has been on the United World Chart for 33 weeks and has sold over 2M albums worldwide. Although I don't know her precise sells figures in the USA, the fact that the album has not been certified Gold as yet suggests that her album has sold less than 500K in the States.
