We're fine! Drove through a really bad rainstorm but thats over. Just windy and cold now.
At least in my area, not sure about the other parts.

You were closer to the whirlwind Lisa than I was so all it did was interrupt my leaf raking (I used the 40 MPH winds to my advantage) and I'm still watching the 3rd quarter of the Bears game an hour after it was suppose to be over.
I got a very nice voicemail while I was out raking from Harry about the gift I dropped off yesterday. They went to the Gino Vannelli concert in St. Charles last night to celebrate.

Most of the destruction was 145 miles from us in Washington, Illinois.
Thanks -- I'm sorry for those in the line of those tornadoes, but it's good to know that Haley's family and her Haliens are probably all safe.
I'm also glad Harry could get away for a night to celebrate his birthday.

Certainly last but not least, Midnight, Tom, Kent and Greg, of course, Harry and Patti, what a way to end an amazing time in Wheeling/Chicago...im not sure I'll be able to sleep I'm filled with so much down and dirty blues.... Still buzzing
Here I am Tusk & Babbs posting away after 3:59 of sleep last night. See I got your sleep deprivation beat by one minute Babbs. Tusk...I corrected Brent's name to Kent in your post above. The main reasons Tusk was on a Halien/Midnight High last night was:
1. When Patti first took the PS Pub stage and noticed Tusk at our table in front of her she gleemed with joy and exclaimed "Seattle!" thru her mic.
2. At the first set break Tusk mentioned surf music to Harry and at the start of the next set, Harry & Tom & Kent performed an unscheduled surfing instrumental exclusively dedicated to Tusk that Tom winged on Bass for the first time ever with Midnight. Harry jammed away on his wireless guitar and played furiously 10 inches in front of Tusk's chair and rounded our table before returning to stage.
3. Patti again acknowledged Tusk's dedication to the Midnight cause by saying this is for you Tusk & Haliens, and performed Haley's Spiderweb.
Tusk was Walking on Heaven by the end of the night as I've never seen him so filled with joy. I was also feelin' damn good enjoying the company at our table of Babbs, Tusk, Penny, Sue Stein, Patrick, Kent's wife Donna and then Patti singing "To Sir, With Love" mostly to me with persistant eye contact, pointing at me with smiles, and saying a little Steve thing at the end (which often is a subdued mumble from Patti that you have to be alert to catch). My god I love this family & band!!!
