I hope some day to be able to post Haley and Harry's version of "If I Fell" among others.

I remember when Himm brought me to see Midnight, a great time. I'm reminded of how Haley encourages people to dance often during her shows, we see where she gets that

Also, I remember how enthused Kent was, sat and talked alot of music during his breaks. Interesting to know he also performs for a Steely Dan cover band called Deacon Blues, a "full of energy" guy

I told him I enjoyed his little dance behind his kit during BGDays "My Cake" (you can see part of it on the left of the vid). He said something like, sometimes the music just takes you, you gotta dance.

Actually, I am very careful when I go out but I was enjoying myself last night. AND, I got up at 445am today and worked 8 hrs! (I was a little dizzy at work) and pretty tired right now... and gotta pack tonight..going to Florida in early am with my sister for a quick break from the cold weather.

My son just told me that he ran in to Harry and Patti last night at 4am at a bar in Des Plaines. He recognized them and went up and said hi. They told him they had seen me earlier in the night. small world....Doesn't it kind of burst your bubble for the "good parents" designation? LOL Out at 4am. They're as bad as the kids

But in their defense as my husband was a guitarist in a band for many years, musicians tend to be late night people. They perform into the night, then want to have a little fun themselves.

I'll keep the home fires burning here in on the frozen tundra...it's only -9 degrees F today, but it will get down to -17 by Tuesday morning! My sister is in Naples, FL for 6 weeks while I am solo here on parent duty...the good son!

My parents will be celebrating 67 years of marriage on March 8th...ages 87 & 91. I'm installing new kitchen appliances for them on Wednesday...

They want to have a little fun, perhaps a bite to eat, and most of all unwind -- just like people do after they get off of any other type of job.

Actually, when I was in a band, the rest of the group would head for some place to eat after we'd gotten the set torn down, but I'd go straight home. I'm not a late night person (although a couple people in the group were certain they'd make a night owl of me). I knew that I would be awake before dawn, even if I'd just gotten to bed a half hour before. Being in that band was hard on my fragile sleep habits.

What I don't understand is how Harry can do those late nights, and then hold a day job. Doesn't he need sleep?

Harry seems like a very responsible guy, and he's always professional and business like when his band is playing. He starts on time, and goes around saying hi to everyone between sets. But I have noticed on some occasions like after Haley sung at the Chicago Theater, the Reinharts and extended family were looking for a place to go celebrate after the show. It was a Thursday night at 1230am. im sure it was a very long day for them, but they were still going out on the town! And Haley and Angela were just following their parents! ))

I went to see Midnight band tonight with Penny at PS Pub. Angie Reinhart was there, and sang Dog and Butterfly by Heart with her mom. The band sounded so good. Sorry for the noise in the beginning of the song.
