Any word of a fall tour?

Any news on this fall tour? I know she's performing with Allen Stone, but I'm starting to feel a winter tour or even spring is more realistic. Don't get me wrong, I'll wait for however long it takes

Given it's almost November, I think a major tour would be more likely to occur in the spring.

I remember a recent interview, don't know when, where Haley refers to the Allen Stone performances in response to a question about tour plans.... So in her mind, I think she sees this is sort of a gradual ramping up towards a tour. Didn't they add a date after the initial announcement (might they add more?)

I'm interested what the 'hold up' is, because as 'paced' as the strategy for her entire post Idol career has been, there does not seem to be any 'hurry' to putting it together...

Is it because they feel unready to invest in the tour? Not sure to the size venues they could succeed in/ play to? Finding the right tour mate? Hesitant, because "Free" was underwhelming in sales? Waiting on the decision of a second single to support with the tour? Or simply, they know that her fans have waited this long, they can wait a little longer while Haley tweeks her 'product' (although it seems the enthusiasm has waned significantly, so I'm not sure how much longer they would risk waiting)

Is the spreading of her 'brand' to multiple media opportunities mean that they are banking on a slow building of the brand to industry insiders and the general public, not laying all their eggs in one basket, a new single, the strategy?Preparing the way, so when the tour trigger is pulled, they can maximize the recognition?

I completely agree. Those are the variables that seem to be keeping Haley and her team hesitant. If I remember correctly, Hales calls herself a perfectionist so maybe the gang is waiting for the "perfect" moment.

That's about the only answer Haley can give at this time. I believe Keith said last week that only John Notto would be accompanying Haley at the Allen Stone appearances.

Or she could drop the bomb on everybody and announce an overseas tour.Europe would be profitable.IMO I think her and John have really developed a musical bond where they both complement each other. Yes?

I think it's more Haley "works well with others" more than anything else. She would be a complement to the Gregorian Monks, I'd guess

I think Haley will always have a penchant for guitars, given Harry is her Father, but I admit to being a fan of Haley and Keith (musicality) as well as with John (performance/onstage chemistry). But in the end, Haley will be collaborating with many others in her career.

I remember in the past, Haley mentioning a fall tour and she threw out the name of John Mayer. Kinda glad that didn't happen.

I kind of get the feeling that this IS her tour.

Casey too is playing at small intimate places. Even though Haley's music is playing is playing in stores and such, most people don't know who she is unless they already know her album.

Scotty Mccreery and Lauren Alaina put their albums out "While the iron was hot." right after tour, then they got to tour with some big names while everyone knew who they were.

Haley waited a year, so, IMO, she has to start over and slowly build her name up again.

She seems like she is happy, though, and will make it in her own way.

She has said, "My parents don't have fame or fortune, but they've been doing what they love, playing in their band for 30 years." And raised 2 kids too.

So, i guess we'll have to wait and see what happens....Hopefully, she will rise to the top, and we'll be there to see it happen.

And, I do like her with John Notto on the guitar, or/and Keith on the keyboards. But, IMO, I wish she would play with the full band more, and have back up singers, and do the whole big show!( I know, money, money) There are so many singers out there these days, with the Voice, and X Factor,and AI, Glee, and Glee Project churning them out.( by the way, my daughter's friend came in runner up on the glee project this summer. She moved out to LA to get her 15 minutes of fame too)

Haley needs to really wow people, and show them that she's the star!! Not the opening act!

A larger tour seems like it has more financial risk to it than reward at this point There is nothing a label/management company likes less than losses I'd guess.

If they keep seeing -some- money rolling in from their cut of song royalties and feel like pushes for high profile invites are well recieved , the takers are grateful to have had Haley afterword, and Haley is making some of her own too... well, I think its much easier for them to stick with her than if they spent buddles of $ and calling in favors on tours and single promotions that didn't pan out financially well.

Being with a big label will help Haley get that extra push behind her songs/album when they do start to get a following from things like placments or a more viral growing interst... I'd rather them continue to think "potential" and "hmm, we're making some money.. this might still have some life potential" rather than... "we threw what we could at it and failed.. .. cut our losses"
